Yasiel Puig snapped his bat over his knee after striking out with the bases loaded

When Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig came to the plate with the bases loaded in the seventh inning of Saturday's NLCS Game 2 against the Brewers, it was his second opportunity in two games to give the Dodgers a lead with a big hit off reliever Jeremy Jeffress.
And, for the second game in a row, Jeffress got Puig to strike out swinging on a breaking ball low and away. Puig could tolerate getting fooled once by Jeffress. A second time was a different matter entirely.
With the splinters flying like that, we'd recommend Puig wear goggles next time he attempts to break his bat. At least he had his batting gloves on though -- gotta keep those hands splinter-free for future at-bats.
