Through the long, cold, baseball-less winter, you may have forgotten what a perfectly executed swing looks like. One whose fluid path, graceful torque and expression of human beauty not only drives balls over the seats, but stamps memories on our hearts. <o:p>
Batting in the first inning on Monday, Robinson Cano did just that with a Statcast™-measured 110 mph laser off of Cole Hamels.
While Cano struggled with injuries last season en route to posting his lowest OPS since 2008, that beautiful swing, .926 second-half OPS and Cactus League-leading seven home runs this Spring should give Mariners fans plenty of hope this year.
