Anthony Rizzo played third base (!) and Kris Bryant had a thing or two to say about it

Something unusual happened for the Cubs at third base on Tuesday night. We know the team tends to do things out of the norm, but nothing compares to what Anthony Rizzo has been doing this season.
When the Cubs defeated the Reds,13-9, Rizzo was spotted playing at third base during the ninth inning. Kris Bryant exited the game after getting hit by a pitch in the 8th inning, and Rizzo moved over to third to take his place. By the looks of how he was throwing during his warmups, he seemed comfortable at the hot corner -- even confident.
According to MLB.com's Andy Call, Joe Maddon says Rizzo was excited and would play anywhere -- just not behind the plate. Kris Bryant, who usually makes his home at third base, had a comedic response to seeing Rizzo at his position.
"He's probably letting everybody hear about it," Bryant told MLB.com. "He's probably put himself down as a third baseman on his Twitter bio."
That'd still be worth a follow, and if there's one person who can handle change, it's Rizzo. He not only had to deal with saying farewell to his BFFDavid Ross, but he dominated a few games hitting at the leadoff spot. Oh, and he also played a little second base this season ... of course he did.
What a team player.
