Jake Marisnick dodged Brian McCann's slipped bat and ended up with a piece of bubblegum

We are used to seeing the notable skills of a baseball player on the field. Sometimes, however, they showcase their skills when they are simply watching the game from the dugout.
Facing Jordan Zimmermann, Brian McCann took a swing on Friday … and his bat accidentally slipped from his hands and flew toward Jake Marisnick and Yuli Gurriel.

They managed to stay out of harm's way thanks to some quick reflexes, and Marisnick was all smiles when he realized what he had avoided. Plus, he ended up being near the bubblegum bucket, so it all worked out.

Cat-like reflexes remain undefeated.
