Todd Frazier's double got stuck in the fence so George Springer tried to knock it down with his glove

Baseball got a tad weird on Saturday when the Astros and Yankees battled it out in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series presented by Camping World.
It all began during the top of the fifth inning with two outs. Todd Frazier was facing Justin Verlander when he smacked a double on a 1-0 pitch to left-center field. The ball landed between the fence and padding.

George Springer did what any of us would do to try and free the ball -- he threw his glove at it:

We appreciate the effort, but it didn't quite work, and the ball stayed in its place.

Aaron Hicks scored on what was ruled as a ground-rule double to tie the game 1-1.
So that was different. Fun, but different.
