Adam Eaton advanced to third base and picked up a first down after his helmet came flying off

Despite living out the dream of millions of people and actually reaching the summit as a professional athlete, many ballplayers still harbor dreams of also playing other sports. White Sox right fielder Adam Eaton got to briefly live out that dream against the Rangers on Monday night
After losing his helmet when sliding into second base and getting his legs tangled with Rougned Odor, Eaton's helmet hit the dirt. Scooping it up on his way to third, Eaton carried it like it was either a baby (note: don't carry a baby like this) or, more properly, a football.

Sadly, Hawk Harrelson missed out on his chance to call the play a first down or to mention that getting to third base put Eaton in the "red zone." Maybe next time.
