Team USA advanced to the World Baseball Classic final against Puerto Rico (9 p.m. ET Wednesday on MLB Network and MLB.TV) with a 2-1 victory over Japan on Tuesday night, thanks in no small part to Tanner Roark. Roark started the game (his second appearance of the tournament) and stymied the previously undefeated Japanese team with his pitching repertoire and very, very quick reflexes:
Roark held Japan scoreless through four innings, allowing just four baserunners. It could've been five, had Roark not snagged Shogo Akiyama's comebacker in the third inning with a move like he was trying out for the new Matrix reboot.
