Victor Caratini launched a grand slam and punctuated it with one of the biggest bat flips of the year

Bases loaded, tie game: That's the situation Cubs catcher Victor Caratini was in when he stepped to the plate in the fourth inning of the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals. 
So, when he swung and launched the baseball into the night sky for a grand slam, he knew there was only one way to properly celebrate: with an enormous, arcing, end-over-end batflip. Look at the sheer height he got on the lumber, or the nonchalant, magician-like hands that unleashed it: 

It's almost as if the bat levitated out of his hands. 
It's not the only grand slam flip the Cubs have used against the Nationals this year. David Bote showed off his version -- more of a emphatic bat drop -- when he hit a walk-off slam against Washington in August.
