A young slugger put on a show during Blue Jays BP -- Troy Tulowitzki's 3-year-old son, Taz
Everybody's always focused on the "next big thing" in baseball -- the freshest and most promising of can't-miss prospects expected to make a difference in The Show.
These days, you have to be alert at all times regarding scouting next generation's standout performers ... including, say, the next Troy Tulowitzki.
That may very well be Tulo's 3-year-old son, the amazingly named Taz Tulowitzki, who put on a show at Rogers Centre on Monday afternoon ahead of Tuesday's Blue Jays home opener against the Brewers:
Not only is Taz the son of one of the most gifted players to suit up for the Long Beach State Dirtbags over the years, but he's also growing up around a Jays team that boasts several bona fide mashers in his dad, Josh Donaldson, José Bautista (and Edwin Encarnación, before he took his talents to Cleveland in the winter).
The kid has some good offensive role models to model his game after ... so keep an eye out for him in a few years. Consider this your heads-up.
