Troy Tulowitzki homered in his first at-bat as a Yankee and couldn't help but celebrate

It may only be Spring Training -- the very start of Spring Training at that -- but if you think players aren't excited to be back on the field and playing, you'd be wrong. Just take a look at Troy Tulowitzki: He's been in the Majors for 12 seasons, he's ben elected to All-Star Games and he's played in the World Series. By about any measure, he's done everything there is to do in the game.
But on Monday, Tulowitzki got to put on his Yankees pinstripes for the first time. Not only that, but it was against his former team, the Blue Jays, who will be paying about 99.9 percent of Tulowitzki's contract this year after they released him in November. So, with former teammate Marcus Stroman on the mound, Tulowitzki unloaded with a solo home run to the opposite field.
It might still be February, but Tulowitzki gave some pretty excited shouts of "Let's go!" as he rounded bases.
After the game, Tulowitzki told MLB.com's Bryan Hoch, "It was the biggest Spring Training homer I’ve ever hit in my life.” Unsurprisingly, Marcus Stroman said this isn't going to happen come April:
