Trevor Williams is excited to support his favorite football player, Trevor Williams
Right-hander Trevor Williams has had a truly historic second half for the Pirates, posting an ERA of 0.72 over his eight starts since the All-Star break, one of the best second-half marks in MLB history.
Williams has surely made a name for himself on the mound this season and looks to be a key part of the Pirates future going forward. However, Williams also shares a name with a cornerback on the Los Angeles Chargers, and that has created some confusion on Twitter as the NFL season begins.
Rather than clarify the difference between them, baseball player Trevor Williams has decided to just fully embrace the challenge of representing both of them:
He's not quite Bo Jackson, but Williams can still call himself a two-sport star in some respects.
