Tim 'TA7' Anderson named his bat after his daughter for Players' Weekend
Players' Weekend is out in full force and we couldn't be more excited to embrace the nicknames and customized accessories Major League Baseball is bringing to the table. And for Tim Anderson, or "TA7," he wanted to do something special for his daughter on the celebratory weekend and name his bat after her.
When Anderson stepped up to the plate in the top of the second inning during the White Sox-Tigers game on Friday, he debuted a bat that had his daughter's name written in pink on it. Introducing the "Peyton:"

The White Sox infielder was hesitant to use the bat in case he had a bad game, but like the broadcasters said, no matter what, it'll still be a quality bat.
