The Reds will celebrate 150 years of Cincinnati baseball with 15 throwback uniforms in 2019
The 2019 season will mark 150 years since the Cincinnati Red Stockings became the first openly professional baseball team, with 10 salaried players in 1869. So, the team will spend the upcoming season celebrating that history with 15 different throwback uniforms from 1902-99.

The 1911 road uniforms, for which the Reds opted for navy blue:
The 1936 "Palm Beach" Alternate with red pants:
The 1956 road vest-style uniform with Mr. Redlegs on the front. The vest style was inspired to accomodate slugger Ted Kluszewski's large arms:
The pinstriped home jerseys of the 1990s with solid-colored sleeves:
