Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Ranking Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
A year after defeating the Twins in the AL Wild Card Game in a crazy back-and-forth battle, the Yankees decided to largely avoid the drama this time around with a comfortable 7-2 victory over the A's thanks to a stellar four innings from Luis Severino, power displays from their heavy hitters, and dominant relief work. New York advances to the AL Division Series against Boston -- the first postseason matchup between the storied rivals since 2004.
In the biggest game of the season, the Yankees' unprecedented dinger duo of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton showed up big time, each launching absolutely titanic home runs to help propel the Yankees to victory.

But Judge and Stanton weren't the only ones doing damage at the plate for New York -- another large gentleman with a proficiency for power hitting decided to show up as well. He may not be as famous as small-forward-sized teammates, but Luke Voit is ready to become a household name. Even more importantly, Voit is ready to be on the B.O.A.R.D.
Where on the B.O.A.R.D. did Voit clock on after his huge two-run triple in the sixth inning? Check out the video at the top of the page to find out.
