Each October, it feels like the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force.
With so much good baseball packed into one month, sometimes it's tough to keep track of all the madness. That's why we engineered a very high-tech, complex mechanism to determine who the 2017 postseason belongs to. Presenting, the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (also known as the B.O.A.R.D.).
Our first edition of The B.O.A.R.D. is understandably Yankees heavy, but check out the video above to see exactly who or what made the first edition of our rankings. And don't fret folks: We'll update The B.O.A.R.D. almost every day throughout October, so things are sure to change quite a bit throughout the month.
