Watch Stephen Colbert and Bob Odenkirk unveil their new Topps cards on 'The Late Show'
Two weeks ago, Topps revealed that its Series 1 set included 20 celebrity first pitch cards, from Judd Apatow at Citi Field to Keegan-Michael Key at Dodger Stadium. Among those featured: Bob Odenkirk, star of "Better Call Saul" and proud owner of one truly majestic pitch face:
And while we would probably never stop talking about it if we were featured on our very own baseball card, Odenkirk had no idea until Stephen Colbert revealed it to him on Wednesday night's "Late Show":
Reflecting on his first pitch experience, Odenkirk provided two pieces of insight: 60 feet, six inches is much, much farther away than you think, and the Moonball is a foolproof method for success. Just what is a Moonball, exactly? "It's a ball that goes way, way up, and then hopefully crosses the plate." For a visual aid, watch the master at work:
