Starlin Castro tipped a popup to Aaron Judge for a circus 4-9 putout

Whether on the mound, in the batter's box or in the field, baseball is often a solitary game. Sure, there's time for collaboration -- a double play, maybe, or a caught stealing -- but for the most part, players have to make plays on their own. 
Sometimes, though, you just need a little help from your friends -- as Starlin Castro discovered during the Yankees' 3-2 victory  against the A's on Saturday. With two outs and the go-ahead run on third, Oakland's Trevor Plouffe lifted a popup to shallow right field. Castro ran out but couldn't quite get there in time, and the ball bounced out of the tip of his glove ... right into the waiting arms of Aaron Judge:

"I think that's the first time [I've made a play like that]," Judge told MLB.com's Bryan Hoch. "Castro was going after it, we were both kind of in a bad spot. He was able to get a glove on it. I was able to make the play."
That's a 4-9 in the scorecard, just like they drew it up.
