Shawn O'Malley dropped a bunt single, and Leonys Martin scored … from second base

The Mariners topped the Angels at Safeco Field on Wednesday night, 4-3. They scored their fourth run in the fourth inning on a nifty play that began with Shawn O'Malley's bunt:

And ended when Leonys Martin realized the Angels' infielders had more or less forgotten about him. He went all the way from second to home on the play, with the throw to third base coming as he was almost halfway to the plate.
"I never stopped running, because I knew if he bunted to third they wouldn't pay attention to me," Martin told MLB.com's Greg Johns after the game. "As soon as I saw the motion, I kept going."
A heads up play, no doubt. But lost in the hubbub was O'Malley revealing himself as the pupil of Charles Xavier that he is:

When beating out a bunt, it sure helps to turn on the mutant speed.
