The San Jose Sharks wore special warmups and hosted the 1989 World Series trophy for A's Night

Saturday was A's Night at the SAP Center, where the San Jose Sharks were hosting the Vancouver Canucks. What's that mean? Well, it means the A's 1989 World Series trophy was in attendance, alongside A's outfielder and UC Berkeley alum Mark Canha.

At one point, Canha was flanked by Stomper and S.J. Sharkie for a festive photo-op:

The Sharks handed out special A's-themed Sharks jerseys to fans in attendance, too.

And when it came time for the Sharks' players to do their pregame warmups, well ... they were suited up for that as well.

The A's were impressed.

The A's and Sharks have a rich history when it comes to joining together for special events, whether that means hockey players throwing ceremonial first pitches at the Coliseum or Rickey Henderson releasing the Sharks from the locker room before a playoff game.
San Jose also hosts Giants Night, of course, with the Bay Area being a two-baseball-team region -- for which they wore some solid orange-and-black warmups last December.
Minutes before the game began, Canha went on the ice for this special moment, too:
