Billy Crystal. Garth Brooks. Tom Selleck. It's not rare for celebrities to get a chance to hang out at Spring Training and prove their athletic prowess on the baseball field. Few have the skills of NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, though. Not only was he selected twice in the Draft -- proving that teams saw a future big leaguer in his 5-foot-11 frame, but the Rangers even scooped him up in the Rule 5 Draft.
After being traded to the Yankees earlier this offseason, even issuing a home run derby challenge to Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, Wilson arrived in Yankees camp on Monday. Though he won't play any games, he was put through the ringer during infield drills to start the day.

He looked pretty at home flipping to second -- which makes sense as it's similar to tossing to the running back in the backfield.
But the real highlight came when he stepped to the plate. Forget the hail mary, this is a real long ball:

I know the Yankees weren't actually planning on getting him into their Minor League system after acquiring Wilson, but after today's showing, maybe they'll try to convince him to start his two-sport career.
