Jeff Hoffman, ranked as the Rockies' No. 4 prospect and the No. 46 prospect in all of baseball, has had some ups and downs in his life. On the one hand, he was a top 10 Draft pick in 2014, has a fastball that can hit 99 mph and has spent the entire season in Triple-A as a 23 year old. On the other, he used to get dunked on by his dad.
Before his start for the Albuquerque Isotopes on Tuesday, Hoffman relived the dad-dunking memories with Jake and Jordan from Cespedes Family BBQ. He also revealed when he himself learned to dunk, explained why he'd like a giant fan installed behind center field and broke down his very nuanced opinions on tomatoes and tomato-based products.
