Rich Hill nearly hit a sacrifice fly ... on a bunt

There are those that say "Never bunt," but anyone in that camp would have completely missed out on the glory of the attempt made by Rich Hill in Saturday's Dodgers-Brewers game. With the bases loaded in the fourth inning, Hill strode to the plate.
After going down in the count 0-2, the bunt sign stayed on. High strangeness then broke out. Hill managed to keep the ball fair, but rather than deadening the ball down the third-base line, Hill blasted it (as much as a ball can be blasted) to the edge of the outfield grass by second base.

The ball traveled a remarkable 139 feet -- the bunt equivalent of a 500-foot home run.

Might not be textbook, but it's going to be a long time before you see this again.
