Rhys Hoskins and J.P. Crawford trusted the process and rang the bell prior to a Sixers game
Entering 2018, the Phillies will look to build on the strong 2017 performances of many of their young players and prospects. Their NBA neighbors in South Philadelphia have spent the first months of their season showing how fun and successful a team built around young players can be.
So, prior to Saturday's Sixers game, Phillies rookies Rhys Hoskins and J.P. Crawford showed off their trust of the process by ringing a replica Liberty Bell and donning Sixers jerseys of their own:
As Hoskins and Crawford enter their second seasons in the Major Leagues, ringing the bell at the Sixers game figures to be but a prelude to the number of times they make the Citizens Bank Park bell ring with their home runs.
