Rey Navarro narrowly avoided a foul ball but could not avoid the dugout trash can

In the bottom of the seventh inning of the Angels' Spring Training matchup with the Mariners on Sunday, Kaleb Cowart lined one straight toward Los Angeles' dugout -- more specifically, straight toward his teammate, Rey Navarro.
With little time to react, Navarro prayed to the Baseball Gods to avoid getting plunked. And with that, a finger on the monkey's paw closed, and Navarro's wish was granted. He moved out of the way just in time, narrowly avoiding the line drive ... and falling clean into the dugout trash can:

Unsatisfied with simply catching souvenirs, clearly the trash cans of baseball have move on to nabbing actual players.
