Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy tried Safeco Field's grasshoppers, and ... he probably wishes he didn't

It's important to try things in life. You never know what you might find, and you won't find it at all if you don't try.
While that's good general (and vague) life advice for everybody, it's probably a sentiment Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy doesn't share -- at least not right now. With Boston playing the Mariners at Safeco Field on Thursday night, the NESN crew saw fit to indulge in some taste-testing for the ballpark's can't-miss menu item: toasted grasshoppers.
Here's how it went down:
Grasshoppers (or crickets, which are served in Oakland at A's games) are definitely an acquired taste, to say the least.
To give credit where it's due, at least Remy gave it his best shot, even if his reaction was on par with that all-knowing judger of things, Mr. Horse (of 1990s' "Ren and Stimpy" fame):
As you'll see in the clip atop this post, Remy promised to try the grasshoppers again on Friday if the Red Sox won on Thursday ... which they did, 2-1.
Enjoy your second course, Jerry!
