Watch Corey Dickerson foul off the same pitch twice in one swing

Leading off the top of the ninth inning of Monday afternoon's 4-3 loss to the Red Sox, Rays left fielder Corey Dickerson saw a pitch he liked from Craig Kimbrel. Because it was a curveball from Kimbel, Dickerson wasn't quite able to square it up.

Dickerson's initial foul knock bounced straight off home plate and onto a tee for his follow-through.
Though the second contact sent the ball straight to the backstop, it looks like Dickerson got a hold of the ball on the rebound. If he had made that sort of contact in the right direction, the Rays may have been on their way to a comeback.
