J.A. Happ goes for win No. 20 against Wild Card-surging Mariners
After a close 3-2 win by the Blue Jays in Game 1 on Monday, the Mariners will host Toronto for Game 2 of the three-game set on Tuesday night. The M's stand just three games back of Toronto for the second Wild Card spot, but will have to beat 19-game winner J.A. "why is milk sold in bags" Happ if they want to gain any ground.
If he gets the win, Happ will be the second AL starter to reach the mark this season (Rick Porcello was the first), the first Toronto starter since Roy Halladay in 2008 and first Jays lefty since David Wells in 2000. Can the Mariners channel the powers of cotton candy girl to a key victory? Will J.A. go behind the Happ en route to a milestone? Tune in to find out.
