If you were in attendance at the Phillies' 5-1 victory over the Braves on Tuesday night, perhaps you noticed something odd -- like the strange fog rolling in from the outfield ... those whispering voices you heard throughout the game ... that freezing cold hand touching the back of your neck.
Turns out, Citizens Bank Park was the site of one of the largest-scale paranormal events ever. Just look at the fully formed, Braves cap-wearing apparition that appeared before him:
Fortunately, the Phillies were also celebrating Ghostbusters Night, so a number of paranormal professionals were on hand to help deal with the problem using their backpack-sized positron colliders, also known as a proton pack. Of course, the ectoplasmic entity wasn't fully driven off until the Phanatic went after him with what appeared to be his trusty watergun -- but it could have been a modified neutrino wand filled with psychomagnotheric slime.
While the Ghosbusters are cool, they weren't even the best part of the evening. Nor was it Zach Eflin's first career complete game. No, it was the T-shirts that the Phillies gave out with Maikel Franco, Freddy Galvis, Cesar Hernandez and Andres Blanco on the backs.
