Pedro Martinez visited Hansel Robles in the Dominican Republic for an offseason workout

The offseason provides an opportunity for players to make more sweeping changes than during the regular season. It rarely makes sense to retool a swing or rebuild a delivery in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the 162-game season, but the winter does make that possible.
On Monday, Mets reliever Hansel Robles got a visit from Pedro Martinez at his home in the Dominican Republic. What did they do? They worked out, and Pedro helped Robles work on his delivery:

Robles has been an effective reliever for the Mets over the last three seasons despite a 10.4% career walk rate. Over his career, Pedro's walk rate sat at a low 6.7%. If his mechanical tips can push Robles in that direction, the Mets may find themselves with a lights-out reliever in 2018.
