Pat Neshek learned the hard way that pitching to his 3-year-old son is a contact sport

Pat Neshek has thrown 445 2/3 innings for seven different teams over 11 Major League seasons. He's experienced the pressure of the ninth inning and the bright lights of the postseason. So it's safe to assume that, when he strolled out to the backyard to pitch to his 3-year-old son Hoyt on Saturday, he wasn't too worried.
Soon enough, however, he would learn a very important lesson: Never let your guard down.

With this kind of content, we feel pretty confident about Neshek's odds in the Phillies' social media competition. (And yes, that is a plush giraffe that appears to be holding down the catcher's spot.)
