Alex Cora did the ceremonial coin toss for his alma mater, the University of Miami

Alex Cora has had a busy month of November. First, he won a World Series with the Astros as their bench coach. Next, he was officially named to his first managerial job, which means it was time once again to put on a Red Sox jersey:

Cora's ascent marked a milestone for his alma mater, too, as he became the first Miami Hurricane to ever be named a Major League manager. Twenty-one years ago, Cora starred for Miami prior to his 14-year MLB career, and he was even named to its Hall of Fame in 2006.
So, with baseball stars already on hand for Miami's football game on Saturday against Notre Dame, the university celebrated Cora by having him on the field before the game for the ceremonial coin toss.

Did Cora have any advice for the Hurricanes?

Miami listened to the skipper and upset Notre Dame, 41-8.
