Major League teams are a lot like high school. You've got the class clowns, the mysterious and quiet types and so much more. It's not always easy to figure out the team dynamic, but that's where MLB.com's beat reporters come in. These are the MLB Superlatives.
Every manager has go-to lines that they use time and time again. For Orioles manager Buck Showalter, no phrase has become more synonymous with his tenure than "I like our guys." Buck has used those four words regularly to describe his relationship with his players.
But while Mr. Showalter knows his team inside and out, we most certainly don't. So, I sat down with O's MLB.com beat reporter Brittany Ghiroli to get a deeper look at some of the personalities in Birdland.
