Mets reporter Steve Gelbs briefly joined the Marlins fan band in Comunidad 305

The Marlins have added a fun new feature to Marlins Park for the 2019 season in Comunidad 305, a section in right field where fans can bring instruments and play to their hearts' content. Baseball was long overdue for a successor to the old Brooklyn Dodgers "Sym-Phony Band" anyway.

During the Marlins' Tuesday night game against the Mets, SNY reporter Steve Gelbs went to see what all the fuss was about and joined the band for the bottom of the second inning ... even though he had never played trumpet in his life.

That didn't matter to Gelbs one bit.

That's the perfect attitude to have.

Besides, just a little bit of video editing can make a world of difference.
