Now that Giancarlo Stanton is a Yankee, there are some logistical matters to tend to -- namely, who is he going to live with in New York? Going full Step Brothers with Aaron Judge is the obvious answer, but he's probably already taken.
Luckily, one of Stanton's old buddies has also made the move to the Big Apple recently: former Marlins closer AJ Ramos, who was dealt to the Mets at last year's non-waiver Trade Deadline. Stanton and Ramos spent six years together in Miami, and they grew pretty close during that time -- close enough for Ramos to offer a highly detailed scouting report:
Belches aside, though, Ramos said that he and Stanton had already kicked around the idea of living together during the season. But don't worry, Mets fans -- he's not going to let a little friendship get in the way of the Subway Series:
Which begs the question: What trap would best deter Giancarlo? Tie his shoelaces together? Paint a fake subway entrance onto a wall a la Wile E. Coyote? We'll have to wait to find out.
