Let's watch Marcus Semien make it all the way around the bases ... on a grounder to short

The Cardinals and Pirates arrived at the Little League World Series on Sunday to take part in the Little League Classic (and, of course, hand out some snow cones). But Little League's influence on the big leagues reached far beyond Williamsport, PA.: During the A's-Astros game in Houston, Oakland shortstop Marcus Semien took a 12-year-old trip around the bases.
It all began with an innocuous ground ball to short -- the sort of play that occurs countless times without incident in a Major League game. And then, Alex Bregman fielded the ball cleanly and tried to throw to second to get the force out, and 10 seconds of sheer chaos followed:
For those keeping score at home: Bregman's throw went wide of Jose Altuve and into shallow right field. As Boog Powell came around to score, Josh Reddick's throw home was cut off by Marwin Gonzalez, who turned and tried to throw out Semien advancing to third ... and then his throw got away from third baseman J.D. Davis, allowing Semien to trot home for your standard, run-of-the-mill homer.
You know, just like they drew it up.
