Watch this Maine-Endwell LLWS right fielder make a wall-crashing, homer-robbing catch
The team from Maine-Endwell, N.Y., won the Little League World Series championship on Sunday, topping South Korea in a 2-1 nail-biter. It was a scoreless affair until N.Y., aided by a wild pitch, strung together a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, which South Korea followed with a solo homer in the fifth.
But South Korea almost broke through first, way back in the second inning. Sangheon Park blasted a pitch to deep right field, and the ball seemed destined to clear the fence. But M-E right fielder James Fellows trailed back and, with a move Drake would be proud of, robbed the would-be homer, bouncing off the wall in the process:
