27 years ago, young prospect Jeff Bagwell was traded from the Red Sox to the Astros for veteran reliever Larry Andersen. A few years later, Andersen, playing in Philadelphia, told Bagwell that he needs to step up his play -- that people really weren't talking about his potential anymore.
Well, on Sunday, the four-time All-Star was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and he made sure to ask Andersen if this was enough:
"So I did the best I can, I played my entire career, Larry. OK, I'm here. Is this good enough for you?"
Andersen, of course, is very proud of his former trade partner. Check out the entire clip above and Bagwell's full speech here.
