Juan Soto turned into Mr. Fantastic to score a run for the Nationals

Juan Soto has proved time and time again that his baseball wits far surpass his age. It's hard to believe that he's still only 20 and yet also a staple in the Nationals' lineup.

Soto excelled again during the Nationals' 5-0 shutout victory over the Marlins on Saturday by going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. That run was no ordinary denting of home plate, though. He had to use some pretty fancy footwork:

Seriously, look at the incredible stretch that Soto used to get his leg away from the tag and across home plate.

The slide looks even more ridiculous when you see it from this angle:

How does anyone get flexible enough to move their legs like that?

There's one obvious explanation. Clearly, Soto was exposed to cosmic radiation at some point like Reed Richards, and emerged with impossible stretching abilities as Mr. Fantastic.
