Josh Reddick had a chance to show off his Spider-Man shirt to Stan Lee, and he didn't waste it
We'd all like to meet our heroes, but many of us will live our lives without being lucky enough to do that.
Professional athletes lead different lives than the rest of us, though, and that afforded Josh Reddick such an opportunity prior to Thursday night's Rockies-Dodgers tilt at Dodger Stadium, which was won by the Dodgers, 7-4.
You see, Reddick made a name for himself during his four-plus seasons with the A's in part thanks to his wearing of a Spider-Man shirt underneath his jersey. Well, Marvel Comics mastermind Stan Lee was in town as a guest of the Dodgers before the game on Thursday, so naturally this happened:
Reddick's Spider-Man thing goes beyond just an undershirt, however, something he proved on numerous occasions with the A's, including when Warriors star Klay Thompson paid the team a visit last summer:
You might say he was a bit of a "Pie-derman" with the green and gold, having attained a reputation for postgame hijinks that led to images such as this:
