Jose Ramirez tripped over second base, but still turned a double play

Baseball is a game that hinges on a player's ability to repeat the same motion over and over again. Just as a pitcher needs to maintain a consistent delivery on every pitch to throw strikes, a fielder must possess the same sort of muscle memory to make throws around the diamond.
In Saturday's ALDS Game 2 against the Astros, Indians second baseman Jose Ramirez needed that athleticism to complete an inning-ending double play. Despite tripping over second base, muscle memory kicked in as he still delivered a good throw to first base:
In most cases, that ball would have probably been spiked into the dirt in the vicinity of second base, if the second baseman even attempted the throw in the first place. Instead, a falling Ramirez delivered a strike to first base.
