Jordan Hicks reclaimed his status of Fastest Pitcher of 2018 with 101.9- and 102-mph lightning bolts

On Monday night, Marlins reliever Tayron Guerreroblazed his way into glory with a 101.8-mph fastball to Pedro Florimón -- the fastest pitch thrown yet this season.
Guerrero's (very) fastball passed that of the Cardinals' Jordan Hicks, who had dialed it up to 101.6 and 101.7 mph earlier in April. But now everything you just read is a thing of the past.
In St. Louis' game with the White Sox on Tuesday night, Hicks pumped in a 101.9-mph pitch to Tim Anderson in the seventh inning -- and followed that up with a fastball clocked at 102 mph a pitch later.

Just wow.

Your move, Guerrero (and everybody else).
