The rumors were swirling, the 4 p.m. ET Trade Deadline was quickly approaching, and Jonathan Schoop arrived in the Orioles clubhouse to suit up for Tuesday's game against the Yankees in the Bronx. Schoop, the subject of many potential deals throughout the week, joked about his future -- even as the deadline passed. Probably just to ease the tension, maybe just to make his teammates more comfortable.
