The Joey Bats Bat Flip has now been memorialized in a Canadian cornfield
The Joey Bats Bat Flip took the world by storm last postseason. It got its very own Statcast, it was immortalized on a Topps Card, it's featured as a goal celebration in NHL '17 ... it is, as you remember, worthy of all these things:
And now, finally, perhaps to rival David Ortiz's New England corn maze, New Brunswick, Canada's Hunter Brothers Farm has honored Bautista's iconic moment:
The farm, located about a 12-hour drive from Rogers Centre, created the 6-acre design in honor of the Blue Jays' 40th season. It'll be open from Sept. 10-Oct. 30 and you can read more about the preparations here. Bautista, perhaps excited about the honor, homered in the Blue Jays' 5-3 win over the O's on Thursday.
Go visit before it disappears and walk around in the Joey Bats Bat Flip. Feel the bat flip. Be the bat flip.
