It's only been about 13 months since Jo Adell arrived at the MLB Draft as a recently graduated high school senior with first-round aspirations and an exceptional blue suit:
The Angels selected the outfielder with the 10th overall pick, and he hasn't looked back since. Fast forward a year, and the 19-year-old outfielder has already made it up to Class A Advanced Inland Empire, and has turned his elite athleticism into elite on-field performance. His huge first half in the Minor Leagues earned him a spot on Team USA in this year's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.

Adell spoke last year before the Draft about how his father has impacted his development into the player he is. Now a full year into professional baseball, Adell has had the opportunity to repay his father for all he's done for him -- with a sweet new car.
Before the Futures Game, Adell talked with us about that special gift, the time he met Rod Carew, and more. Check out the video at the top of the page to hear it all.
