James Shields blew the biggest, most perfectly shaped bubble you'll ever see

White Sox starter James Shields has accomplished a lot in his 13 years in the Majors. He's been to the World Series twice -- with the Rays in 2008 and the Royals in 2014 -- and made an All-Star team in 2011. 
On Thursday night, the 36-year-old starter may have achieved the greatest accomplishment of his career without throwing a single pitch. In the eighth inning, he blew a bubble that was remarkable in both its symmetry and size:

Nearly as impressive as the bubble itself is that Shields was able to deflate it without ending up with bubblegum all over his face. If Shields can carry the momentum of this bubble-blowing success into his next start, opposing hitters better bring their A-game.
