Jake Lamb took to the ice to drop the puck before Saturday's Coyotes game
Ice sports are big right now. The NHL is in midseason form, the Olympics are in full swing and Team Shuster just made U.S. history as the team won curling gold.
D-backs All-Star third baseman Jake Lamb wanted a piece of the on-ice action, so on Saturday night he dropped the puck before the Coyotes took on the Ducks. With his teammates watching from a suite -- Archie Bradley seemed pretty excited, while Zack Godley was in the classic ballplayer's offseason outfit -- Lamb made the drop:
Of course, given the curling madness that's overtaken the airwaves in the last week, I wonder if Lamb was prepared to slowly slide down the ice with the puck instead of dropping it.
