Entering Friday's game against the Phillies, the Nationals' Daniel Murphy was hitting a cool .450. He had a league-leading 18 hits in nine games. He should really be playing in some higher-being baseball league.
So, it's no surprise that with the Nats and Phillies tied at 2 in the 10th inning, Murphy got, you guessed it, a hit. The game-winner to be exact:

Along with Murphy's otherworldly bat, it seems that the Phillies had the odds stocked against them even more. Friday was the second baseman's Bobblehead Day -- a day that players tend to mash on.
Murphy had two hits and is now batting .444 -- extending his season-opening hit streak to 10 straight games.
