We are back with another episode of "Infinite Jess" and this time we are not only covering something fun, but historical. Yep -- the bullpen cart. These nostalgic pieces of baseball history were once a staple in the game, but then they disappeared.
But guess what? They are back and they are better than ever.
Infinite Jess' host Jess Kleinschmidt brings in Cut4's own Michael Clair to go over a post he wrote in the offseason -- before we knew the bullpen carts would be back -- and he talks the history and mystery of them. MLB.com's Nationals beat writer Jamal Collier also stops by to talk about Sean Doolittle, who was one of the first players to utilize the bullpen cart this season.
