Hector Santiago had to fashion his own makeshift White Sox jersey for Photo Day
On Valentine's Day, the White Sox signed starter Héctor Santiago to a Minor League deal with a non-roster invite to Spring Training. It was great news for the lefty, who returned to the team that drafted him back in 2006 (and with whom he enjoyed his best big league seasons).
Still, the move did present one small problem: Chicago didn't have a chance to give Santiago a uniform before Photo Day on Friday. So he improvised:
Hey, it accurately conveys who he is, what team he plays for and what number he wears. That counts as a win.
