The calendar turns to September. The temperature has begun to dip. Teams are in the home stretch of a long and winding season. Two of those teams, the Padres and Rockies, played against each other on Friday night. And in order to keep their minds fresh during San Diego's 14-1 win -- and to keep warm in the coming autumn -- Gerardo Parra decided to try to start a fire using two pieces of a broken bat:
